Hello, I need help identifying this chicks breed. It was sold to me as a Black Copper Maran. Can you please confirm it? Thanks.

I don't think it's Polish or CCL. The crest is more like the CCL than Polish but the rest of the chick (incuding color) is nothing like a CCL. A CCL is auto-sexing. The females look distinctly like a chipmunk while the males are more blonde with a white dot on the head. Also, the beak is unlike any I've seen before.

Can you get a picture of it's face and comb? Also, is that a crest on her head? It's hard to tell from the picture. How old is she in this pic?

I think she may be a month old. The crest on her head is just head feathers, unless you are talking about the crest on the nose.

I do agree with @Punkybrewster that she could be a CCL/Marans mix. That would explain both the crest and the color.
