Welcome. I was born and raised in Michigan. We all do the same hand thing when telling someone where we are in Michigan. Its pop not soda, we drink vernors when we are sick, we know what a real coney dog is, we cheer on the Lions regardless. Thank you for the smile, and congratulations on your book.Hi! My name is Crystal. I'm from the very tip of the Thumb in Michigan.I'm not new to raising chickens, but I'm always looking to learn more from others! I have/had Rhode Island Reds, ISA Browns, Easter Eggers, Seramas, D'uccles, Barred Rocks, & White Leghorns. I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mama. Recently I added author & illustrator to my job description though! I wrote & illustrated a children's book about my favorite chicken - a White Leghorn named Eggnes. If you're interested in checking it out, it's called Eggnes the Silly, Little Hen. Its a rhyming book that is also interactive! The reader must find Eggnes' missing egg somewhere within the pages of the book.
