Make it rain? What do you mean? (Or is it an expression?)Well that's OK everybody has to start somewhere . When I say pointy end elevated I mean egg laying flat with the pointy end slightly higher than the fat end just a little higher. As in off center higher not standing up . you don't have a good enough candler for that dark of a egg . Your going to have to figure out two things where the beak is and which side is up. When you hand turn or the hen turns the egg is horizontal with the big end slightly higher than the pointy end . Very few hatch eggs in the vertical position . you stop turning the eggs and la them down on the eighteenth day I do fifteen or sixteen . This gives the chick time to move into the hatching position . I'm sure you have read all this . My thinking is the chick hasn't turned . If nothing else lay it down .make it rain in the incubator and hope for the best
