I was sure the egg was dead so I started opening through the air sac area only. I didn't break the sac, but it's still alive! The one that you broke the end of the egg off, has busted thru the membrane??

It's alive and chirpedIs it alive ? Have you kept it moist ? Its still better to see if it will hatch alone if possible .
It now looks like this. I don't think it's fully absorbedDo you think it has absorbed all the yoke sack?
Yes, I see fluid. It was SUPER hard to hear the chick! I chirped to it and held it up to my ear to hear it respond. Even like that I could barely hear it! My humidity right now is 71%Dose there appear to be fluid around the chick ? What we're worried about here is drying out of the membrane and the chick becoming sticky . What can happen is the fluids if they are in excise can become like glue and stick the chick in the shell . This doesn't mean rip the chick the rest of the way out of the shell . Is it moist . Dose it sound strong or weak ? If I'm reading right your on the 21st. Day ?This is a tough call even for a seasoned hatcher . But your nearing the time to d just that What's your humidity ?
