Ok, yeah I will look into the vitamins to give rhe hen.

Do you think that 4 month old hens should be eating layer feed?

The feed is quite a debate it seems.

Personally, I try to keep pullets on chick starter or an all flock feed until they come into lay, but a lot of people switch to layer feed at 16wks.

My girls started layer at 3 months because an employee at our feed store said they were ready. Right now, my ayams are 4 months and eating layer crumble.

3 months is a bit young for layer feed, imho.

I'd try vitamin therapy for your Gal. She and the others may benefit from some extra protein like egg, fish or meat. Or you can feed them some chick starter or all flock.
