Woke up to one of my baby chicks crying and she’s very uncomfortable! We moved her to another box and I can’t tell if anything’s wrong with her neck. She’s 8 weeks old and she’s a bantam. She’s in pain and i don’t know what to do, please help!

Vitamin E deficiency, if it's wry neck. What breed is she? What does she eat? Is it possible she was injured?
There is a possibility that she was injured but I didn’t get there in time, I’m not sure what breed she is but I know she’s a bantam and she eats chick starter feed, thank you for replying!

How might she have been injured? Injury would be a totally different problem.

For wry neck, you will need to add vitamin E to her food and make sure she's getting water. And separate her so she doesn't get picked on or trampled.
I’ve separated her from the others but still I don’t know if she was injured or not, she’s calmed down and seems to be comfortable now, but I’m worried, thanks for your help!

Thank you! Her neck is still at a weird angle though...
It will be for a bit, I fear. You can try adding vitamin E to her food. Empty a capsule of vitamin E for people into it. Maybe wet pellets. If you don't have or can't get any, you can give a poultry multivitamin that has E in it.

But that will only work if it is wry neck. Any more ideas for how she might have been injured???
