Help, baby chick has poopy butt

Any other suggestions? I don’t want to do any damage to her little system. Can I put apples cider vinegar in the water? Or what do people feel about feeling there chick DE food grade of courses. And what about feeding them Greek yogurt?

You can provide water with apple cider vinegar but be sure to also provide plain water. I dont believe in giving DE.

I did some research when mine developed pasty butts, so I added a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to their water supply (gallon jug).. it also provides nutrients.

It won't help the pasty butt, but you can dropper feed Nutri Drench. Tractor Supply stocks it, or you can get it online. It may help give her the boost she needs to grow. It worked great on one of my latest chicks that was tiny and malnourished from Coccidiasis.

I have had them for 4 weeks now.

Use a warm cloth to wipe the crap off. I cleaned my chicks daily, even though they just hated it, but it helps to keep them healthy.

So this is what I’m dealing with now. This is her cleaned up. Some of it won’t come off. The poop is so runny it runs down to her belly. I’m treating her for coccidiasis at the moment. Hoping it helps. I’ll give her vitamins after I treat her. Thank you for all your help. Any advice is always welcome.

I think so. She’s just so malnourished it’s hard to tell. But yes it sticks out and it has poop around it I can’t get off. It’s a white color
