Like you would massage anything but use just one or two finger tips. If you suspect impacted crop, give a half teaspoon of coconut oil slightly chilled to make it easier to put into its beak.

Okay, I think it worked a bit. He gladly ate the coconut oil, and he's crop went down a bit when I massage it. (I think.... maybe I imagined it)
I put him back in the incubator for a break. Then I'll massage again.
