You can use a q-tip if necessary, and dry up a little around the beak. But I'd give it more time to zip. 12 hours and later than the rest of your hatch, probably needs a few more hours. Good luck!

The beak looks like it has plenty of room to breathe now. Bubbles stopped. I added more water since I realized that apparently the bator dried out since she is taking so long. Humidity should rise and hopefully she will hatch while I'm at work.

What do I do in case that happened? None of the other chicks had this much difficulty hatching. I don't want to lose her. She's losing steam and getting weaker.Is it just me, or does it look like in the picture that she might not have pipped into the air cell?
