Help! Can't identify what's wrong with my quail chick

OH
The same day i made this post i ended up compressing the baby between my palms with its back against one and it's feet against the other kind of like gently squishing it so it was stuck in a sitting position and I held it like that for a bit. After, it's leg was no longer straightened out behind it and it was walking. Fast forward to today, it's running around and eating/drinking normally. I hope I did the right thing.
MY GOSH YAY!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! We were all saying to cull it, but you managed to keep it alive!! You have no idea how happy I am lol tysm for saving a life :) Also, yeah you did the right thing! If it worked, it's good. It seems to be fine now so good signs. Not sure what made it go to normal, but may have been from a joint locking in place?? idek im just grabbing random things that pop in my head. but yeah, you saved a life, and saving such a precious life is always the right thing :) Congrats!!!

I was about to cull it after listening to everyone's collective suggestion but i wanted to try again. It still looks to be doing well. I may be speaking too soon for it but I still want to thank everyone again for your helpful advice and insight. I now know how to cull a quail quickly haha.
