Looks like you already got some excellent advice. Heat and fluids/electrolytes are really the only thing you can do at this point.

She passed away last night

Does anyone know if heat plates work for chicks? I had one in my cart yesterday and someone who works at wilco said not to get those, I've heard they work great. Is that true?

I love the heat/brooder plates. I use these exclusively now and have several in different sizes. You have to teach the chicks how to use them, but they catch on quickly that this is where the heat is. It mimics the mother hen and it seems more natural then the red heat lamps.

I'll probably go back and get one later! Do you know if heat plates keep the chicks warm enough?
