We ended up having surgery. Sadly they had to break some bones in order to do the surgery. It’s worked. Being candid…it cost us $2000. I don’t know if I would’ve done that again but once we got started it just kept progressing. It took a few procedures total. I’d first find out if that’s indeed what your bird has bc my initial thought on what she had was incorrect. I wish you the very bestAny update? One additional thought…she didn’t have a growth. She had a very small lower beak that was not growing and her top beak was appropriately growing. What I thought was a growth was her tongue falling into a pocket her body had naturally created in her throat. Hope this makes sense. Happy to answer any questions you have.I’m sorry your chick is going through this, also![]()
Wow that’s amazing, I hope she continues to progress. I would love to see pictures of how she is now if you would feel comfortable doing that and she’s up for it. I’m happy this worked for her, I know it was a tough place for you to be in.We ended up having surgery. Sadly they had to break some bones in order to do the surgery. It’s worked.
