Just an update/ she’s made it and seems to be going strong! Has been drinking here and there and finally just got her to eat some food. Thank you all for your help.

Yay! Was just sitting down to ask how she is doing. The first 24 hours are critical. I know I felt amazing relief when LC made it past the 24hour mark! I know God will direct you as you lovingly care for your gal. Keeping her clean and swabbed up with antibiotics will help her go a long way. Up the protein to help her grow back her feathers.

My LC has grown quite accustomed to personal care. She loves the special treatment. She is currently walking into the house at bedtime. We are expanding our coop wand waiting until it is done to make her sleep with the flock.

Hi everyone!!! My girl Penelope is a trooper. She is in the garage getting all the TLC and extra snacks from my toddler. She is healing GREAT. Already starting to grow new feathers. Still a big open wound but it’s healing and she is a happy chicken girl. I let my flock come see her and they were all so happy. It was awesome. TYSM for all your help!!!!
