I'm sorry to hear she didn't make it. Was it the bonny silkie pullet? I would encourage you to get a necropsy to establish what you are dealing with. Silkies are particularly prone to Marek's. The body needs to be refrigerated asap and shipped overnight on ice to your local state diagnostics lab if you decide to go that route.

A well house is what is used to house your pump for your well. It’s fresh water but it is standing water and my landlord is supposed to fix it. It’s moldy in there. But it’s cold well water.

If they have access to a cool shady place like that, it is not likely to be heat stroke.
