You're welcome, I'm hoping you will see improvement in the morning, please let us know how she's doing :hugs
she's still sleeping a lot and i have been giving her water and some food through out the day every hour. is it normal for her to sleep this much? she is moving around a little but then will go back to sleep. she does look better and is breathing better

I've posted an updated photo of her. Her neck is still in this position and has been since she got injured. She has moved a little but just mostly sleeps. Sometimes, she will get started and stumble and stretch her wings. I don't know why she does. I'm not sure if its because she hears us move around in the house or if there is another reason. I know she is still really weak. I've started giving her Vitamin E and B complex today. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable?

In your other thread you had mentioned the other side of her neck has wounds too? How bad?

The stretching out - it may just be she's trying to find comfort - sort of like we move around when in one place for a long time.

Do what you can - keep syringing fluids into her and see how she's doing in the morning. Hopefully she will start to recover.

the other side of her neck has only one and it isn't as bad as the ones on this side. i'm going to keep syringing fluids into her because i have seen small improvements. i think she just might be really weak and has a hard time standing.

I'm glad you are seeing a little improvement.
I hope the vitamins also help.
Has she been able to eat anything? You could try some wet soupy feed once you have gotten fluids into her. But I wouldn't give too much for fear that with her neck like that, the contents of the crop may come back up.

Hang in there - you're doing all you can :hugs

i have fed her very wet feed and she eats it but not too much. its been mostly fluids. thank you so much for your help with all this i really appreciate it ❤️

she is moving a little but she's in the same position she has been
she keeps trying to get up and ajust herself but stumbles because i think she's really weak
She may be uncomfortable being on her legs all the time.
You could try fashioning a sling to put her in for short periods of time to help support her and let her move her legs. Some birds panic in a sling, while others do very well. You would want to watch her to see if she's going to flip out of it. Her neck...maybe place your rolled up socks or towel on there somehow to help support that too?
Just a thought.

The first video - it's short and give an idea of a sling, I don't know if I would put food/water if she has no control over her head. The second one is about Brownie, it's been a couple of years now, but Kailey asked about him here on BYC. I can't remember what happened to him, but I if I remember correctly, Brownie did eventually recover and was able to walk on his own - it took some time though. Hope that helps.
