There are feed stores and TSC’s in most areas. Just get the Corid if you are seeing blood. It is safe, even if it is not coccidiosis, but if they start to go downhill, it will delay treatment. Sometimes normal intestinal shed will be passed in the droppings, but with baby chicks, at that age I would treat them. The most common and serious time for coccidiosis is from 3 to 6 weeks, but they can get it later as well. Dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water. Mix new each day. Treat for 5-7 days. Pictures of droppings are welcome here.

thank you. I ordered corid on ebay and it said it would come by friday.. one chick seems to be sitting down and eating the food. Is there anything else i could do to help them?

The thing that I do not understand is how they got coccidiosis because I have never let them out of the brooder, and have kept it clean. I heard that coccidiosis is not transmitted from the hen to the chick.

It just sometimes happens. I got a batch of chicks from tractor supply once who had cocci. You need to treat asap. The longer you wait the higher chance of death. You dont have a feed store anywhere within driving distance? Friday is too far away.

I live in tampa and i live quite far from the nearest feed store. I dont think I could drive 2-3 hours to the nearest one. The pet store I got it from does not carry it.

They can get Coccidiosis from woodchips. It's pretty common.

Oh I see, I changed their bedding to a dog pad shortly after bringing them home. Could they live two and a half weeks with coccidiosis?

It's been four days since i have given them corid, the poop with "blood" is still visible in a few spots on the dog pad? I am sure I am dosing them correctly anyone know the problem?

If its improving then that's a good sign. You let them go so long without treating that it may have gotten bad. The longer you wait the longer it takes for it to be fixed.
