Help! Crushed egg? Chick bloody but still breathing

Make sure it stays warm! Super important!
Otherwise, keep it moist and leave it be. Be ever so careful around the navel; I once accidentally had a chick pull it out :sick when it kicked while I was holding the shell. (it did not live past 4 days).

It's so hard to keep it moist, but I've been applying coconut oil as often as I can. The problem with the heat lamp is it dries everything out so quick! I've soaked some paper towels in the oil and laid them on the chick, it seems to be helping. The chick has even started peeping and is more responsive when I move the towels to check on it. So hoping!!! :fl

So the chick still seems to be doing well, wiggling around a lot more, but eyes still closed. However I have a new concern. While I was able to keep most of the exposed membrane wet still, the very edges of it where it is torn are hard and dry in a few spots, and appear to be stuck to the chicks skin? Even if it could hatch, I'm concerned about the membrane being stuck to it.

Can you get an updated pic for us?

Here are some updated pictures. I keep it covered in coconut oil soaked paper towels, but moved them for the picture. It moves around a lot still, peeps on occasion, and has opened its eyes just a little a few times that I've noticed. I don't have high hopes for it, but I'm going to try anyhow. I unfortunately dont know its exact due date, because the broodies snuck another egg under a few days after they started the first 2 and I'm not sure exactly when they did it.
