HELP crushed egg shell with chick about to hatch

we decided to open the egg it moved a tiny bit but didn't make it I don't know if opening the egg was wrong but we figured it wouldn't have made it anyways because of the blood loss we also are thinking of getting an incubator for the rest cause we are afraid that the hens that are fighting over the eggs will hurt another one

Either get an incubator for the remaining eggs, or remove all the hens except for one from the box.

we decided to get incubator for the rest we tried to separate them (one hen at a time with the eggs) but each hen when separated freaked out

So you tried letting the hens sit in shifts? That's an interesting idea! Good to know it doesn't work, that's actually helpful for others here.

I would have tried splitting the eggs and giving each hen half of them in separate nests, lol but not sure if that would have worked either!

With that amount of blood, I would suspect it won't make it.

I also love my Nurture Right incubator, and agree with Pyxis, its a great investment if you think you will ever want to hatch eggs. If not, I'd go with a cheaper one for emergencies.
