Help! Day 22 and wobbling reduced...

Q tip dipped in boiled water. Off to find some coconut oil now. I took a pic after it was wet too.

Applied cocnut oil. Membrane looks weirdly transparent. Can see a bit of yolk at the top. Still moving but smler movements. Think shes asleep so going to leave her be for a few hours, checking the membrane every hour or so... fingers crossed she makes it. We are into day 24 now...

I will be here with you I know just how stressful this can be. if you can see yolk where you opened it yep she's upside down in the egg, so look for where her beak should be on the other end of the egg

If i can find where her beak should be, what should i do then?

Update.
Sadly she didn't make it. And i dont know why. Her yolk was actually fully absorbed, and her head was right down between her legs, beak facing the pointy end, feet wrapped over the top of her head to her wings.
Gradually her movements were less and less and te she just stopped. No sign on the shell interior of her trying to peck her way out. :(
Im absolutely gutted- she faught so hard for 24 days, just an hour short of 25 days.
Does anyone have a idea what happened, and what can be done to prevent this in future?
Blessed be little chickie. :'(

Too big for the egg? Not enough space to move her head to pip? (Sorry for the photo- admin please remove if inappropriate).

Also, as she had absorbed the yolk, does that mean she did internally pip? Or can they do that before pipping?
Lots of questions sorry, just want to know what went wrong. In the guide it shows ideal position to be with the head under the wing, but hers was buried in the inside of her right leg, almost touching the end of the pointy end... how come she couldn't move it to the air sack? :(

Aww, sorry. Sometimes this happens. Next time when you notice the movement slowing go ahead and assist some more. It’s so hard to know when to assist and when not to. You didn’t do anything wrong just a suggestion for next time. It’s all a learning process. It does look like it still had a small amount of yolk to absorb.

From the pic it looks to be in the normal hatching position. I haven’t had one hatch at the pointy end of the egg but have read some about it. And often they don’t make it. A lot of times assist is needed.

I think internal pip, and absorbing the yolk happen together. I have had some that have all but hatched/hatched with still some yolk needing absorbed. Most of the time by the time they zip they have absorbed most if not all of the yolk.

Some chicks just don’t get positioned the right way, I don’t know why someone else may know. But it’s hard for them to pip and zip when they are like that. Not enough room to turn for zipping in the small end of the egg.
