Help! Day 22 and wobbling reduced...

if your sure it internally pipped carefully make a small whole in the air cell end so they can get more air in there, then place back in incubator and see if that helps for a bit, if you don't hear cheeping soon and you have read the assisted hatching then help. Tagging people as I can't find the article on assisting. I found it lol

@Ridgerunner
Ive made a small safety hole in the air cell but cant see a beak. Is it possible the air cell can move/become fuzzy at the bottom end and i mistook that for pipping?
Eggie is back in the incubator with a dampened membrane. Still wiggling...

it could have pipped some where else or a lot closer to the lowest point which is normal, it's still rocking so where ever it pipped it can get some air now , keep an eye on it. usually I have a hard time telling cause eggs are pretty full.

Have you read the complete article on assisting?

I have. But i dont want to be premature and make a larger hole in the shell. But also, i dont know what i can do at this point... its nerve wracking! This little chickie is a fighter! :)

I can see the membrane moving up and down- maybe her head is at the pointy end?

She could be mal positioned
but from sounds of things she''s working on getting her self outta there. the small whole to allow air as you suspect she had internally pipped was to get air in there before air cell ran out. you want to keep an eye and only start assisting ever so slowly, it took me 8 hours to assist one that was mal positioned just so ya know going by the 2 hour rule, next time you have to check, See if you can find the beak too. and if you enlarge hole have some Vaseline or coconut oil to apply to the membrane so it doesn't dry out

I noticed when i was moisteningbthe membrane that the blood vessels were still present. Thin but present, so im guessing shes not done absorbing the yolk yet anyway. Couldnt see a beak. Just grey fluff- i couldnt make out what was what. The mass under the membrane is still moving up and down like a chest breathing or heart beating?
So im going to let her be for a few hours to rest. The wobbling is less frequent now but shes still breathing. So my guess is shes sleeping.
Question- if her head is at the pointy end, can she still pip through the shell there or will the lack of space prevent it?
Sorry for all the questions- as you can tell, im very new to this! But thanks so much for all the help so far! :)

They can still hatch out, if veins are still present she's not ready, but sometimes depending on which of the different mal-positions she's in, they can't absorb the yolk properly m but if they are thin that means she is just about done absorbing

What i can see so far. The pencil marks are the air sack outline. The bottom part is where i can see it raising and falling like a chest.

did you apply something to help keep it moist ? it looks like it's dried out already
Also the lowest part of the air sac is on opposite side of where you opened
