HELP DIAGNOSE OUR MYSTERY ILLNESS.

Chookbook, I posted some ideas for you on your thread in the feeding and watering section of byc. :)
I just replied- thankyou so much for all your help (everyoneee!!:D) . She's a tiny girl, but very tough. Audrey should be back to normal as soon as she gains a bit of her chub back.

Oh gosh guys- we need help again!
We treated her for mites (scaly leg as well) and she quickly got back to what we thought was 100% healthy.
She was eating like normal, bathing and flying around everywhere. Yesterday I was so sad to find her again with a repeat of her symptoms. We checked her for mites around her bum and wings ; no signs there so we looked everywhere else to be sure. The only odd thing we found were some flaky skin bits around the feather base's. I've been checking her poop and it's rather normal- weirdly shaped though. We've wormed them all again as they're due for a worming anyway.
Is there a way she still might have a mite infestation even if we can't see any? Is it possible that they're living around their coop and attack only when we're not around at night?

PLEEEAASEE HELP US GUYS! x

That is possible. Their is a mite called the Red mite that lives only in the cracks and crevices of the hen house and comes out only at night to feed on the chickens. If you suspect this you can put up a white piece of paper in the hen house And Check the paper late at night to see if any are crawling on the paper. The paper helps you see the mites. Did you treat the hen house for mites as well? If not you might want to treat it.hope this helps and best wishes.
