HELP, Dog is not feeling good!

First off was the milk from a cow? Animals cannot process milk from a cow. You can try and withhold all the food for 24 hours, then gradually re-introduce food. I would suggest some cooked plain rice with some boneless, skinless chicken breast chopped up in it.

I would also consult with a vet. Sometimes the rich food will cause pancreatitis and your vet should give you something for it.

This is exactly what I was going to say. My lab once upon a time got into the garbage the night of Thankgiving and ate himself all sorts of squash, turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, 8 peoples plate scrapings...
He ended up with Pancreatitis and man oh man was he one sick pooch. Vomiting EVERYWHERE and frequently, like every 3-5 minutes to the point where he was dry heaving. It was very scary to see.
I called an emergency vet local to me who thought he might have been obstructed with something from the trash and told me to feed him 3 slices of bread, buttered on both sides. HUGE mistake on their part. It almost killed him.
We then rushed him to another emergency vet clinic who took the blood work and confirmed the Pancreatitis, gave him Subq fluids and sent him home. The rule was NO FOOD OR WATER for 24 hours (he had had subq fluid) and then to introduce water a tablespoon at a time once an hour the next day to see if he would tolerate it without vomiting. Once he could keep down a cup of water, we were able to move onto rice and chicken, a very small amount at a time, and then gradually mix in the regular dog food. It took the better part of a week to get him eating his regular meal again and he didn't have any bowl movement at all for the first 48 hours, even though he would strain and get in position.

You might want to take him to the vet for the bloodwork to confirm the Pancreatitis and the Subq fluid. It's important to stop all intake of food and water to give everything a break with Pancreatitis and you cannot do that unless they've had the subq fluids.

Well It has been 4 hours and he has not been puking since 6 a.m. so it does not seem that serious, just upset tummy. I will get some Pepto Bismol and have fun trying to shove it down his throat, serves me right though, He still does not feel good, poor little dude....

A lot of times you can confirm pancreatitis with an Xray because there will be a characteristic bolus of gas.

I wouldn't jump to the assumption he has panceatitis yet, though.

He probably just has a bad case of gastroenteritis, hopefully.

No food for 24 hrs. and make sure he is drinking small amounts of water. If he isn't drinking make a little clear chicken boullion and give it to him in surpervised small amounts.

If it were my dog I would do the pepto and just cooked white rice in chicken broth. You want to slow his gut down and sooth his tummy and usually just plain carbs like plain WHITE bread (I know, I know) or plain white rice is good for and upset stomach. I wouldn't add any protein because he may still barf and have diahrrea and basically its a waste of good protein. You really want to keep any fiber out of him at the moment.

If you see any blood in vomit or stool it is time for a trip to the vet.
You will need some metaclopromide and antibiotics.

Is it okay if he is still not feeling good? He is not as bad as he was but he still is uncomfortable. He shows no interest in eating anything, he usually likes rice. He did show some interest in a tiny teeny bit of cheese I had. He also has not been drinking a lot, but does not seem dehydrated. Do I at some point need to force him to drink?

We just went through this week before last with our dog. She got into the neighbors scrap pile and became deathly ill. The vet did bloodwork and sure enough it was pancreatitis. Have him checked ASAP.
