Help! Drooling duck who was attacked unable to swallow

Ok, so we just fed her for the second time at 2:00 (she's now spending some time hanging out in a warmer bedroom so she can be out of her cramped kennel for awhile). We got about 45-50 cc into her of wet, blended pellets with brewer's yeast (basically the food she eats every day except with a lot of water to make a slurry). Do you think that's good for the day, or should we give her one more go?

I can't find anything that makes sense to me. I mean, her neck looks a little dented when she extends her head out, but I don't normally see her in that position so I don't know if that's how it normally looks or if part of it got crushed a bit. She does seem to be able to drink water better though! She's not drooling nearly as much when she takes a drink as she was, so that's good.

I suspect it's just swelling, which should get better over the next few days.

As for amount to feed, this is when I find it really helpful to get a baseline weight, then weigh daily. If they lose weight, you increase number of feedings and/or volume of feed per feeding.

How much do you think she weighs?

@Miss Lydia Yes, we think so too. Her manner is good. She spent much of the day wandering free around a warm bedroom and she's presenting more like her normal self. Not quite all the way, but better.

@casportpony She's on the smaller side. Our drake outweighs her significantly (always has) and even the remaining runner, who was pretty petite to begin with, also outweighs her. That's part of why I went with an estimate of 3 pounds. But if she still isn't able to eat on her own tomorrow I think we're going to go with three feedings anyway since we only went with two today.

I will work on getting a scale, but I don't anticipate that happening within the next couple of days (and I REALLY hope she's eating on her own by then so we can get her out with everybody else!)
