The duck did indeed die,
but seemed better. Still not sure what happened to it.

That’s something I looked at but all the rest of my ducks seemed fine.. I don’t know if it got sick and something was stuck in its throat or what?I'm so sorry.
I wonder if it could have been gape worms? Or even an overload of regular round worms.

how long does it take a duck to aspirate?Be careful with using a syringe to give her water, if not done properly she could aspirate. Please don't force her to drink by dipping her nares in water. Does she normally have water deep enough to dunk her head in? She might have swallowed something that she shouldn't have and it is stuck. How long has she been like this?
