HELP! Duckling with a swollen hock joint

Glad she is doing somewhat better. Could you maybe get a pic of her standing, (or someone holding her) where we could compare both her legs? I know how hard ducklings are to get to stand still though. :p

What is your brooder setup like? What bedding material? Is there a chance she just tripped and hurt it, or sometimes when a group gets to running at the same time, they collide, or trample each other?

Also I’m assuming she is a Pekin, and they grow very fast, and sometimes get a bit heavy before their legs catch up with them. The brewers yeast should help with that though.

@Miss Lydia other suggestions?

We have them in a bathtub with pine shaving flakes as bedding. They are clumsy so there is a possibility that she could have hurt it. We didn't notice anything happen and there are no external signs of something happening. She wont stand on her own. She will kind of "crawl" to her food and water. Also, I am pretty sure she is a Pekin. Tractor Supply did not know what breed they are because they get assortments from the hatchery.
I hope these pictures work. If you need other ones please let me know.

Ouch that looks very swollen.

The things that could cause this is obviously physical injury, a vitamin b deficiency but I can’t remember which one it is at the moment, or infection. Is it hot compared to the other hock? What kind of Brewers yeast are you using?

I’m sure there are other reasons that I haven’t encountered though.

When we noticed something was wrong with her leg, her hock was red, hot, and swollen. She has been on antibiotics for a couple days now. That being said her hock is not hot anymore. We are using Solgar Brewer’s Yeast Powder. Her poops are normal.
