**HELP** Easter Egger has broken beak!!!**UPDATED WITH PICS**

oh no... I hope it will eventually heal in some way, she keeps opening it up or something and it bleeds. Tonight when I went to let her in to roost, it had stopped bleeding, but looks flimsy, so to say.
 
I would isolate her for a while and give her soft food that she doesn't have to "peck" at - like a mash made from pellets and applesauce. YUM!

Isolation is important so the others don't peck at her wound. Give her a little time to heal and she should be fine. It may look bad, but there's plenty of beak left there for her to eat OK, you just want her to stop injuring it!
 
My SLW broke the tip of her top beak off one time....no clue how she did it!

But anyway it did hurt her to peck at food, so I fed her a wet mash several times a day. Her beak grew back and you can't even tell she hurt it, now.
