Annabell has always been a bully... I have bliners coming on Thursday with her name on em! They have a pretty fair sized run, and every supplement you can imagine... Thanks for the encouragement! She is scratching in her pen! I think she is recovering well!!!!
thanks! I can get some tommorow! Should I keep it moist with coconut oil or vectrin? You guys are so incouraging!!!
How is she doing this morning?Would an airborne tablet work instead of Tums?
Good! I didn't give her the airborne! I'll give her some oyster shell. She is very good this morning! Me too! It's funny... Annabell is so sweet to me.... But so nasty to my other chickens! I also ordered 5 hen aprons.... She seems to be picking most of the feathers from there. How is she doing this morning?
I would not use the airborne tablet. You can just make sure she has oyster shell or next time you give her some egg, crush up the shell really good for her.
I hope those pinless peepers help with Annabell. Some hens can be quite nasty at times.
if I can get some... How much does it cost? Are you willing to give her shots of antibiotics for a few days? In my experience, my hen is recovering much faster with Penicillin.
About $9 for more than you will ever need. (Smallest size)if I can get some... How much does it cost?

I'm not terribly experienced with ailments....so sorry.
For SOME REASON my Mom came home with no electrolytes, and no penicillinAbout $9 for more than you will ever need. (Smallest size)
Yes... I feed organic layer pellet, organic scratch, oyster shell, mealworms and vegetable compost. Yes, she eats the feathers.I'm glad she is doing well!
Is she pooping o.k.?
Hmmm...what do you feed? Does Annabell eat the feathers she plucks out or does she just pluck and drop?
thanks!I'm not terribly experienced with ailments....so sorry. But I'll be here for moral support if you need it.
Rooting for your girl's recovery!

She should live without it, but I've found that it works so well in helping them heal and rebound that I will use it again. For SOME REASON my Mom came home with no electrolytes, and no penicillinwill she live without it? I can't drive

I used to say I would never use injectable antibiotics, but after using them I realized they exist for a reason.
