HELP!! Eye is bleeding!!!*Pics

I would still follow up with some kind of topical antibiotic around the area. I am wondering if there could be a sinus infection involved. Definitely keep doing what you are doing, and any time you can get him into a clean lukewarm bath, do so, I feel strongly it is likely to make a difference in the speed with which he heals.

I don't think there is a sinus infection, he seems to be breathing just fine, and is completely healthy overall, except for that eye. The eye seems to be doing better, It stays open all day, and I dont have to open it up for him every morning now. He has a large shallow water pan that he splashed around in and washes his face with. I am still keeping him separated from the rest of the flock, he seems to be doing better everyday, so I am wondering when I can let him out again, maybe next week or so?

I don't know how relavent this is but my pet Degu (related to the chinchilla) got his eye poked out by my cat and it looked similar to this. I washed it out with a salin solution and applied triple antibiotic everyday and his eye went back to normal and full function.

Wow that really good! Im glad he got better. Im actually kind of against using antibiotics on my animals, so thats why I don't get them, but my duck seems to be doing much better. Thanks for the advice on his water Amiga, he has been splashing around, and his face looks much clearer, and clean. By the way he acts, it looks like he can still see out of that eye. Il see if I can post pics tomorrow. His eye is still a bit red, but it's going away. Im still using the Vetericyn, and it seems to be a big help (so glad i got those free bottles

Vetericyn is some of the best stuff on the market, I would not be without it, actually I have used it on myself an feel very comfortable doing it, glad to hear your ducks eye is looking better, keep up the TLC.
