This is the second time I read about cayanne pepper, it said Capsicum from hot peppers (i.e. cayenne) has anecdotal success as a natural treatment for blackhead disease. However, the effectiveness of treating blackhead with capsicum has not been verified through documented research. Enough that the bird farts flames LOL

did you read that it says for non breeding bird LOL I wonder why it can't be used for breeding birds - maybe cause the lower protein?

I am guessing the pepper helps kill bacteria or something. I know that in tropical areas of the world seasoning is very popular and this is not only because of how it improves the taste of food, but it also helps kill bad bacteria on the food. I learned some stuff about that in Biology class. I think Oregano is high on the list...
