Help! first time hatching!

Everybody's well and alive!! Another of my neighbor's chicks just hatched. The other two I moved to a brooder.

I'm leaving the runner ducklings at the neighbor's brooder for now for quarantine because of the one that died.

I actually think she meant $1 per chick with the ones I'm hatching for her.

The two chicks are doing great. Another egg has pipped and chirped a couple times.

The runners are so cute! One was dead unfortunately.

Aweee sorry to hear that but it sounds like your doing great in the long run!!

Day 6 for the eggs I'm incubating for my neighbor. All but 2 look good. One is really porous but I can see a shadowy area. Hoping it's life. The other I can't tell if it is life or just the yolk.

Could someone post a pic of dud eggs? Like the death ring, or something

She paid me $6 cause 6 chicks hatched. Hopefully she meant the eggs I'm incubating for her as well

And guess what silkiecuddles... I bought 2 white silkies last weekend. The guy said they are about 12 weeks, he thought they were both female, but I think I got one girl and one boy. They are adorable! Now I'm looking for eggs heehee

And I only WATCHED the chicks hatch and moved them to a brooder I set up and fed them food and water. BUT she does a lot of stuff for my fowl when we are out of town.
