Help! first time hatching!

Ok thanks!!!
Hey, does anyone live in the Midwest or Wisconsin? Because it is finally starting to warm up!!! How old should the duckings stay in the brooder before moving them in with the parents (fully grown ducks)

Depends, I don't understand you have two girls sitting on your eggs, broody is already set up for you?

Each week you lower the temp in the broody by 5 degrees until the temp in the broody reaches the same temp outside or they have fully feathered. I usually send mine outside at 3 weeks because THEY ARE MESSY.. but Only in summertime weather... Not in the winter months.

Yes because the ducks were so happy to see a PUDDLE and were rolling in it!!!! I couldn't resist they are still sitting and being GREAT mommas

LOL, that's what we call the hatching disease... Ok please try to avoid doing it again. It's best that you stay away, remember these are first time mommies and they don't always get it the first time around. Right now they seem to be doing a great job so they don't need your help.

Do you have that egg on a turner in the upright position?

Yes they are still upright in the turner. I know you disagree with it and haven't had luck with it yourself but I decided to give it a try anyway. If it works for the big hatcheries, I still have hope. I work away from home during the day so I am not able to do manual turning. If this doesn't work, I'll design something to hold them in the turner on their sides, but for now, I'm sticking with this.

NOPE, NOPE, I'm not going to disagree, IF it works THAT's Great, I just know for me it didn't..

You can always tape the eggs to lay down. Just a suggestion..

When the females lay on the eggs should I put like a container of food right by her to make sure she is getting the right nutrition
