Help! first time hatching!

I think your humidity might be too high. What are you using to measure it?

Darn :/ I'm just using the meter that came on the top of the incubator.

I just came home and humidity was at 60. Here are some pics

Okay. Air sacs don't look too terrible small, but you might want to lower your humidity. Hopefully @Lacrystol , @Sally Sunshine or @ozexpat will comment on the humidity.

Ok, thanks for the info! I'm feeling a little better now. Looking at my pics on my phone I see I placed the eggs in the incubator on 1/18 and if that day is considered day 1, today would be day 24... right?

Hi

At this stage, I would run dry for 2 days or until there is internal pipping, I agree with Kathy that the cells arent too bad. Just be ready to up the humidity then.

Make sure the vents are open .

Good luck!!

Hello, and thanks!

Ok so does running dry mean don't add any water? Thanks again!

Sorry - by run dry I mean have no water in the incubator.

Once you can see the ducklings bill with candling, add water and up humidity to 65%
Will this be okay even if you're in a very dry climate? I've done that with mine and the humidity will drop under 10%.
