Help! first time hatching!

The most recently hatched chick (about 3 hours old, still in bator) has a really *gags* nasty pinkish *gags again* um, wormy looking thing *throws up* that's coiled up hang--oh it's strange--ing from its rear and it almost looks *gags* like something that should be on its inside.Any suggestions? Save me from throwing up my dinner, please
I'm thinking the "cord' is still attatched by the sounds of it. Has it seperated the cord from the egg or is it still attached to the egg shell? Whatever you do, (and it doesn't sound like you would), do not pull on it.

IT's hanging from it's butt. I haven't touched it, and don't plan on touching it unless it will save its life. The chick seperated from the shell and crawled all over the last 5 eggs getting them and the entire paper towel bloody *gags*

If it's just the cord, and I'm pretty sure that's what you are describing, it's not a big deal. They usually end up pulling most of it off moving around in the incubator. If not, you can either wait until it dries up and withers off (like a baby's umbilical cord) which can take some time and if it's placed in a brooder with other chicks while that is still attached chances are they will peck at him and it incestantly and do damage, or you can tie it off with floss or thread up near the body and cut it shorter.

I had a duckling with the cord, and it eventually fell off. But this is more the width of a pretty big earthworm, but it's coiled, and then has what looks like some hatching red stuff hanging off it. The all the other chicks are in the brooder at my neighbor's, but i left this little guy in there (mainly cause I didn't want to touch its thing

hay wait you didn't invite me to come to the bar? I want to do some scoping. I'm tire of looking at this baton and seeing nothing happening, I feel like it's turning me into a zombie. I'll go to the bank right now and load up on dollar bills, lol get stripper bar hahahahha

Consider yourself invited! Girlz night!!!

Sounds like a plan!! lol No hairy backs there!! (Hopefully...lol)
Yea but probably no hairy chests either... but that's ok... I'll "tough it out"! lol
