I agree to k needles and drumstick. It is very aggrevating to return to the thread thinking the poster has said something just to see its another person with the same question as everyone else. I also see no use in keeping this thread if they aren't going to post, BUT I also believe that if we don't like it, we can un subscribe.

The starter has always been forthcoming - I think there was a painful experience, and now she is distancing herself. I'm getting bad vibes about her neighbor.

Could just be a predator that got him (I've had hawks kill two of my best chooks in the past

). The neighbor does seem quite suspicious to me, though.
