Help! Hatchling duck

i have a Muscovy duckling that just hatched today. I ended up bringing him inside because his mother was standing on him and squishing him. I came to check on him and he was barely breathing and not responsive. I managed to bring him back but now he can barely hold his head up or walk. He’s very squirmy and is peeping loudly but not functioning right. Could his mother have hurt his back standing on him or could it be another problem?

Mama may have hurt him ... Keep him warm, you may want to also post in the Duck section. I don't know what to advise
