I have a golden sex link, or golden comet, and this morning I went out and she was all fluffed up, her vent was bulding, and she had what I thin was a broken egg hanging out of her vent. It was thinker in some spots so I down know for sure. We pulled it put with gloves, and her vent subsided, we sipped the yolky stuff off her vent feathers and put her in a separate pen in our duck coop, after warming her up inside. We put a sprinkle of Save-A-chick electrolytes and probiotics in her water, and mixed some oyster shel into the top of her food, with a enough room for her to eat around it. She seemed to be doing fine, happy scratching annoyed to be locked up chicken stuff, so I wasn't to worried. I came to check on her this afternoon, and she was all fluffed up again, with a poop behind her. The poop looked normal, but she was in the "I down feel good" stance, and didn't seem to faced by our presence. She ate, and drank right after we pulled the egg out, and was acting normal, but I just wanted to know what could happen, and what symptoms to look for for anything serious. I am going to check on her now, so I can have another report in a moment. She is 2-3 years old.

I think that she might have a collapsed egg membrane hanging from her vent. She probably had an egg break inside. Can you gently pull it out? What are you feeding her? Does she have free choice crushed oyster shell?
I pulled it out a few hours ago. It came out easy, and she was acting completely normal after that. As it got later, may just be because she is tired, or bedding down, but she fluffed up again, after what looked like she pooped, and was in the "I don't feel good" stance. I added everything else in the bottom of my post. I fed the CHS brand poultry feed, but switched a few months ago to the Purina crumble, and now the Purina pellets, but we are mixing the last of the CHS brand in, since we had a bunch and needed to use it up. It was my bad, She does have OS access, but I recently closed off the coop with OS in it for cleaning, and totally forgot about the OS. She has been without OS for 5-7 days now to be completely honest. I feel bad about that, and am now wondering what I can do for her. Thank you everyone! Avery

I would focus on getting her hydrated, then eating.
It would be good to give her some extra calcium for about 3 days. You can give 1/2 tablet Caltrate or a Tums.
When they have a membrane like that sometimes the contents spill into the oviduct and makes them feel bad. Did you notice if there was any yolk or white leaking from her vent when you pulled that out?
