Can someone help me figure out if my leghorn is a hen or Rooster. This bird is a lot bigger than the other leghorn we have that we got the same time and supposed to be same age. They should be about 11-12 weeks.

Thanks everyone. We bought it from a local feed store and it was labeled Leghorn but I guess anything is possible.

Feed stores are notorious for getting chicks mixed up.

It's not even necessarily the people doing it. I was watching the chicks there recently and saw one hop up to the edge of the horse trough then jump down into the next trough.

This store was, however, being honest in just listing the breeds available on one sign without pretending they were being kept separate. :D
