[Help] Hen panting!

She seems to be panting for a while.....i dont think it is due to thrist because after i fed her water, she will sometimes pant......
 
Chickens pant to cool off during hot weather. Fans in the coop, lots of shade, and keeping water shaded and cool with ice or frozen water bottles can help.
 
All my flock is panting with temps in the 90s and high humidity. The Buff O's are plenty uncomfortable. I agree, your hen is trying to cool off. turn a fan on them in hot weather. I give ours cold tomatoes and they had their first pumpkin out of the garden this week. They loved it. I also change their water frequently making sure it is out of the sun and cold.

Nothing more funny than seeing 16 chickens vying for the best spot in front of the fan.

I even mounted a small fan on the ceiling of their coop and connected it to a timer so it goes on late after noon and runs until after sunset so they can stay cool when they go to roost.
