HELP! Hole on top of crested duck head!

The only thing I have on hand right now it cortizone, I put a small amount and it seemed to help a lot with the itching. Just concerned if this is okay for the duck, I’m very worried about her

How is she this morning?
Checked on her this morning and she seems fine, took her out to swim and re applied antibiotic and anti itch cream. The area seems to be darkening not sure if that is a bad thing or is part of the healing process. I have attached a picture below (the white in the area is the cream I applied!)

I also spoke with a TSC store near me to see if they sold anything that Can further help with the wound, they recommended this: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/rooster-booster-poultry-wound-spray-16-oz
Trying to read some more reviews to see if it would be best to purchase!
She still moves her head weird but I noticed it more so when her crest is wet, maybe it’s the weight of the crest while wet that bothers her?

If 19.00 I spend more an get Veterycin spray for wound and infection. Or Theracyn wound an skin care. I got 8oz on Amazon less than 10.00
Update: she is doing so much better! Her hair is actually seeming to cover the wound some and it was hard to picture but it already looks like new feathers are sprouting! I am going to continue to clean and and apply cream!
