Help, I hear the chick inside of the egg but it won't externally pip

It's not at the small end, its pretty close to the fat end. It's just facing down, like towards the earth. It's trying to break through like kinda downwards? If that makes sense? English isn't my first language

The chick mentioned above is zipping now. It's going very fast since it is over half zipped after only 40 minutes! Can't wait!

The surprising thing is, that it's hatching in a home-made incubator

The incubator has a 25 watt lamp and some bowls with water and kitchen sponges,
then a hygrometer and a thermometer

oh, and the bator is just a wooden box.. Actually a danish military 7.62 ammunition box
