I still say Isa Brown or possibly a Red Star.

It seems like the logical conclusion so far is that it's a hybrid-breed from a Rhode Island Red or New Hampshire Red

This next pullet, named Rita, is still undetermined on the breed. Does anyone have suggestions? I've been assuming Golden Comet for now.

Your assumed legbar could be either a legbar or an Olive Egger. My here is a pic of both of mine at 7 weeks. The cream legbar is the one with the darker head.

Interesting, I wasn’t expecting that curveball. That makes some sense though. Isn’t an olive egger bred from a Maran with a blue egg layer (which can be a CCL)?
