Help Identifying Breeds

I'm afraid I won't be much help on answering that question as I only recently got my first rooster and he is 'servicing' a flock of 23 hens. But, I mainly got him as a hawk alarm and eye candy. There are still specific breeds I'd like to add so I plan to add them in a different way eventually that doesn't involve hatching out any fertile eggs courtesy of him. Of course, best laid plans have a way of changing.

What do you do with the fertile eggs? I'm actually surprised one rooster can service so many Hens. That is news to me.

The black chicks are black sex links.

So if I allow nature to take course itll likely be a lot more roosters? Also would a silkie have any issues with the other larger breeds?

Yes, when you hatch eggs 50% will be roosters and 50% will be hens. I don't have any experience with silkies, but from what I've heard they do well in mixed flocks.
