Hey,
Can anyone help me identify these tracks (in north Florida) that I just saw near my chicken coop?
The tracks were in the dirt path leading to my chickens and veered off into the grass about 20 feet away from the chicken run.
My chickens were out in their run but all are ok. I've locked them up early now.
I had just been out there about 30 minutes earlier walking with my 100 pound dog so whatever wild creatures made the tracks they ran through pretty quickly.
One of the pics includes my shoe print (women's size 9) for size comparison.
Thanks!

I didn't walk my dog exactly where I saw the unknown tracks so I couldn't get a comparison pic but my dog is huge German shepherd & the unknown tracks aren't nearly as big.

Raccoons have 5 toes. I'm seeing four. The strange part is how dimpled the pad of the foot seems. I'm kind of thrown off by that,

Just went back out & walked down the entire dirt road. Unfortunately it's soft sugar sand & most of the tracks were quite blurry. Did find a few more several acres away from the chickens. Looks like maybe one animal with a wide stance as opposed to two walking next to each other. Noticed those "dimples" too. Maybe opossum?

I'm stumped, sorry. They are really washed out because of the nature of the sand and because of the animals gate.
