HELP! Impacted Crop

Going through this now, hen with chronic off-and-on diarrhea and when she started her molt, crop began not emptying. We've been working on that and had some improvement.

My question is:
When she gets soft foods like finely minced egg and apple, out they come in a big splat of water, little pieces of egg and diced apple. She's had plenty of probiotics, prebiotics, electrolytes and vitamins. Any way to help her get nutrition out of her food?

So sadly my hen did not improve and I had to cull her this past Thursday.

Are you saying that she eats but the food is coming out in her poop totally undigested? Does she have access to good grit? It seems odd that the food isn't getting more ground up as it passes from the crop.

That's a great sign it felt smaller! Yes, keep doing what you're doing until it's gone.
It can take awhile- so be patient.

What do her droppings look like? Can you post a photo?
Is she molting by chance?

I ask because I had a hen that would get crop issues every time she molted. The food was super slow to digest, a hard lump in the crop, strange poos.. I spent thousands on vet visits and medication. I pro-actively implemented the coconut oil and crop massages and put her in a crop bra every molt and it helped tremendously!
@Chold05 I have a 5 year old hen with this problem. Last year around October, right around her molt, her crop slowed. I spend over a thousand to have crop surgery. Afterwards, I had to tube feed her. She spent 2 months in a dog crate. This year it happened again! I am this close to euthanizing her! If she can hold on and get over the hump of the stress of molting maybe she will pull through, but I just spend another few hundred on her vet bill. And, yes, she is a very special chicken. Not many are gutsy enough to come up to you while you are doing chores and peck you in the back for treats.
