HELP! Incubator quit day 26!

yes add one towel, that's good they were able to internally pipped, they probably were patiently waiting for that Rain to come and that's what you did, now they are probabling thinking

What is this person doing?  First they let it rain then they stop then rain again.  OHHH wait until I get out of here. LOL  with in 24 hours they should externally peep, so keep that wet towel in there.

LOL they are going to have some beef to pick with me!

The one thing I see your going to have a problem with is when they get out, that container is WAY to small for Four ducks to fluff up, do you have a Cooler? or something larger? Box won't do it.

Since you have two that are internally pipping, add the towel and lets see if we can get a crack out of him, give him at least 24 hours so by tomorrow, someone should have crack that shell some..

Now once one gets out then it's like a game of dominos, boom boom boom, they all will seem to follow behind so right now it's soooo crucial that we have everything PERFECT..

Yes we are on day 27. I have this little "incubator" sitting inside our big brooding box, and the temp around on the outside of the "bator" is about 90 degrees. Could I move hatched ducklings to that outside or do they have to fluff up in the incubation environment? I have a much larger pan I could be using but thought it might be harder to focus the heat from the lamp. Suppose I could still just move everthing to the bigger pan but have them sitting close together still and ten they could spread out when they emerge.

Ok I will wait until after 3pm today to wonder if i should help the first pipper; that would be about 24 hrs since he broke through. Hope he just moves along on his own and gets those others going!

Added the towel and humidity went right up.
