HELP! Infestation of mites! Prozap Poultry Dust not working!

Hello all! (panic mode activate)
I am in a huge panic!
Two of my birds that I got from a swap earlier are infested with tiny mites. I asume red northern fowl mties. They are tiny, brown-red, and hundreds of them. I dusted them with Garden and Poultry Dust with.25% Permethrin. I even cut off the feathers with the infestation AND they all are still trying to thrive! It seems as the dust had no effect. I just bought Permethrin 10% insecticide and I have ivermectin cattle pour on. What should I try next? How much? What is the fastest and most effective way? I have peafowl and I do not want them to get these buggers. I am in an panic becuase my normal coarse of action is not working and I need something that works for sure. I am cleaning the whole coop out tomorrow. What would you suggest spraying in there to help? I heard the permethrin works well. Can anyone help out please?

Spinosad - Elector PSP is expensive, but a lot of people swear by it. http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/poultry-lice-and-mites-identification/

Directions/mixing directions should be on the bottle of Permethrin that you purchased. Treat your birds and housing. Make sure the clean everything out. Repeat again in 7-10days. If you still see them, then repeat again.

I would try the permethrin 10 spray. The brand I use is mixed 1/2 ounce per gallon of water. Use about 1/2 ounce per chicken around and under the vent or wherever the bugs are seen. Do you see any white to grey eggat the base of feathers? If so, that is lice. It is important to distinguish between lice which are treated every 10 days, from mites which should be treated every 7 days. Reat at least 2 or 3 times to get newly hatched ones until no bugs are seen.

Ya...the elector PSP is a bit too expensive for my budget.
Also, I just decided to bathe, cut out the nits, and vaselined the hen and roos vent areas. The infestation was so bad that I just couldn't let it sit and wait. I know it is not a permanent solution, but it definitely killed the population on the bird by like 90%. (took a shower afterwards..ugh gross)

I heard that these mites' eggs will hatch in two days. Would it be wise to spay again at that point due to the new mites?

Also a quick clarification, the hen had it the worst. It spread to her cagemate the roo. He has a small population. Finally, there is another roo above them in a different cage who has none at all. SO from that evidence, the mites may not have spread fast to places outside the cage. ALL three birds were from a poultry swap and have been separated from the main flock for three weeks. They still are too. So glad I decided to keep them quarantined before introducing to the rest of the flock.

Also at Eggcessive, I am not completely sure if they are mites or lice. They eggs are small, round, and white. Like the photo above.
