Help!! Is my chicken a rooster..?

I think that poor guy is a victim of bad frizzle breeding and has two copies of the frizzle gene. His feathers look really brittle and it looks like most of the ones up around his head have broken off.

I am also wondering if my Ameracuna is a rooster. See the two compared. I can't tell but they definitely don't look the same!! They are 12 weeks old. The one I'm curious about is the one further away.

Black sexlinks can be sexed by color. Males are barred like their Barred Rock Mothers. Females are black with red/gold on the head, neck, and chest area. The amount of red/gold can be highly variable.
