HELP! Lost chicken

The one time I lost a hen we found her waaaaay up in the branches of a pine tree. Like way, way up. We must have walked directly under her about a dozen times while she laughed at us from her hiding spot! Is there a chance she may stay out of sight because of the commotion of everyone looking?

Best of luck finding your girl!

Is this your only chicken or do you have others? Did you notice it missing when you went to lock it up in the coop for the night?
We currently have 3 other adult hens down there, but she was the only chicken of her age left. I've left the coop she was in open in case she wanders back early in the morning, There is nobody in that coop at the moment. I noticed pretty easily that she was gone when I went to lock them up for the night.

is there any places she fancies or like a lot that you know of outside the coop or is there a garden near by she might have wandered too anything that has food at least.

I think a few people have gardens nearby, I'll ask if I can look in them. I don't really know any places she fancies outside of the coop and run yet, though
did you try your neighbors or if they have any fenced-in years she could have gotten in those and is now stuck in there yard and the people may not know but yes check with neighbors.

Being missing all night and all day is very serious for such a young bird. What is your neighborhood like? Do you have predators that may have taken her at dusk such as a raccoon, a marten, or anything like that? Also, is there traffic in your area to where an unscrupulous person might have sneaked close and nabbed her? We have heard of chicken-nabbing, sadly, in some areas. I hope she just wandered off and will soon turn up. Good luck!

We found her, the poor chick. She's been in the garage the whole time, not making a sound. She's just very hungry and thirsty, and currently staying in the house till morning.
