HELP LOST FOUR EGGS IN BATor with No dents or holes randomly oozing fluid

Also, I borrowed my incubator out to a gal who let eggs explode in it :sick. Even though we washed it in hot water with dish soap, and soaked it in a diluted bleach solution, the smell had permeated the plastic and did not go away for a while. I did hatch successfully in it while it was still stinky many times though. So it's not a problem, just frustrating!

OH and about the size, calibrate your incubator while it's empty, just turn it on without eggs and stick the glass aquarium thermometer in it. It should be able to fit and it's very small! Do you happen to have a link or picture of your incubator? I can't seem to find one posted?

Sorry, its really small can fit maybe 6- 7 bantam sized eggs, comfortably.

I just wouldn’t trust that incubator again, though. It’s really too small to put thermo/hygrometer in and it seemed to be really uneven with heating.

When I had it, eggs were fine until lockdown, one was oozing like these, I took it into a warm steamy bathroom to open and take that one out. It read the correct temperature but the eggs were literally too hot to hold. All dead.

I think your right. One person had success with one out of three duck eggs with this bator on another post that I made when i first got it but suggested i buy a small enough hydrometer to steady check levels. Shocker even one egg hatched for her! I ordered this to maybe try ONE last round, in the future. Very very good ratings on this product:

Very good ratings. this will be my last attempt with this bator using this item. I also had awful directions and had no clue the indention under the egg tray could hold as much water as it could until a week ago. :/ its so awkward to add water that i have to use this syringe that came with my sons medicatons to apply water with..
