thank you so much for your help! i’m changing the basket to have paper towels now! i have the top to a can of pringle’s can with a little water in it in there do you think this is okay?

It will work while you go get a real waterer, but they will walk in it, poop in it, and flip it over, getting themselves and the bedding all wet. A waterer costs only aobout a dollar, I believe, and takes a standard pint or quart jar which should be pretty easy to find.

Update~ the egg was bad. i lost two during the night. however one of the injured survived & is getting healthier. he/she went to work with me today poor lil babe still needs my help to eat & drink. i run a auto repirnshop & all the guys decided to name him rocky
